UNDERSTANDING the term "SIN" - three Chrisian scholars YouTub's.
Sin blinds us toward God. It causes lostness. The spiritual basis of our human condition is often described with the word, sin. It can be undertand as a spiritual deadness, lostness, or wrong relationship with our creator or an all pervasive human condition we all have from birth. This is not an action or moral failure, rather a deeper state of the soul. "Sin" can also be seen as "missing the mark", as set by our Creator to know and worship Him. The mark is to be rightly related to our Creator.

Only Jesus Christ can give the gift of eternal life, making a dead soul dead, lost toward God, alive and in a supernatural spiritual relationship with Him. As Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, " ... He has set eternity in the hearts of men yet they cannot fathom what God has done..." God seeks us and has created us to seek and be able to find Him by grace through Jesus Christ.
